Affiliate Without a Website

Start your internet marketing business today! Promote affiliate products or learn how to create your own!
If you’re interested in becoming an affiliate marketer, but have absolutely no desire to build your own website to promote affiliate products, there are a number of options available to you as an affiliate without a website.
Of course, if you want to create a long-term, sustainable, income, you’d be better off creating a website. Having a website allows you to create a huge “list” of e-mails by offering a newsletter or opt-in section for free products, which will enable you to e-mail these individuals with new product information for the rest of eternity (or until they opt-out).
But, you can always start off as an affiliate without a website by posting on blogs and online forums, write an e-book or create another form of information product, write reviews or ads for classifieds websites, and even promote affiliate products through pay-per-click ads.
Affiliate Blogger:
Blogging is probably the easiest way to get the hang of affiliate marketing. All you have to do is obtain an affiliate link through an affiliate network directory (such as clickbank.com) and start posting on blog sites that are relevant to the product you are promoting. There is no sense in promoting products to people who have no interest, so be sure to figure out who your target audience is and post away on blog pertaining to that market!
Always, always, always be sure that the content you post on blog sites is quality stuff, otherwise you could be targeted as a “spammer” and your posts can be deleted, or you could even be banned from posting on those sites. If you always post high quality content, your readers will be more interested in reading the entire post and there is a better chance that they will click on your affiliate link. First impressions really do count, so make sure you don’t slack off when it comes to writing your content.
Creating an e-book or other information product:
Creating an e-book really isn’t as difficult as it sounds. You don’t need a degree from a top-notch school, heck … you don’t even need a high school diploma! You have the option of paying someone to write the content for you, or you can simply write it yourself.
An e-book can consist of a 30-50 page report on a certain subject and should include your affiliate liniks. If your content is informative and people like what you have to say, your e-book can become highly successful and spread like wild fire!
You will need to figure out how you want to market your e-book and can even tell your customers that they can redistribute it if they’d like at no additional cost so that your book spreads quickly and reaches a much larger audience. There is always the option of selling the e-book on eBay as well. This is usually a great starting point until you find other websites that might promote your product for you.
Write ads or reviews:
Writing ads and reviews is fairly simple and you can always pay someone to write them for you. All you have to do is write a positive review for an affiliate product and insert your affiliate link a few times within the content. You then post your reviews on classifieds websites like Craigslist.org so that consumers can find your reviews. Remember to create high quality content!
Pay-per-click advertisements:
If you’re unfamiliar with pay-per-click, please Click Here to learn how it works before going this route. Pay-per-click isn’t terribly difficult to utilize, but you’ll want to educate yourself before continuing as you will need to invest some of your hard-earned money. That being said … you can create pay-per-click ads that will send whoever clicks on your affiliate links directly to the vendors website.
There are some drawbacks to this method, but it can also create HUGE amounts of income for you, if done right! One drawback is that you cannot control how well written the sales pages are for the products you refer your customers to. The sales pages written by the vendor may not be that great and the customer can potentially leave the page after just a few seconds. Since you “pay-per-click”, you will have lost your investment.
Another drawback is that if numerous other people are promoting the same product as you, which happens quite often, Google Adwords (for example) may only allow 1 ad for each product to appear at once in their search engine results. This means that your ad may not appear very often and you may not end up getting many potential customers to click on your ad.
So, now that you know your options for becoming an affiliate without a website, you can begin researching which method works best for you.
